Cherry Blossoms Pt2

Hey so this is the second post, now these photos where taken with my Canon Digital Elf. I absolutely love the quality. Some of the photos are the same scene as in the previous post, but I had to show how great it was.

Cherry Blossoms Pt 1

Hey everyone, Well its been awhile since I posted anything new, but here in Japan cherry blossoms are a very special part of the year, so a good friend of mine and I went to a few parks close to where I live, now these photos where taken with my Olympus Sp565, I absolutely love that camera, I will post a blog after this one showing the photos I took with my Canon Elf. It is so hard to compare the point and shoot with the more pro camera because Canons Elf is soo great! But I will let you guys be the judge.

So there hasnt been a whole lot going on around here lately. I start work friday the 6th so I am extremely nervous and excited about that. I am going to Thailand very shortly in on the 18-23. I am so excited about going. Billy and I never really got a honeymoon so this is kinda going to be our honeymoon. I am so thrilled. It seems so far away. I am just ready to pack and leave in the morning. Billy seems to be doing well, he just turned 23 which is so hard to believe. It seems like yesterday when I first met him. I had just turned 14 and he was 16. Wow how time flies by. Anyways, Sasebo is still the same ol borning Sasebo. My life is somewhat incomplete because my best friend is currently in Okinawa with her family, taking care of her amazingly handsome little baby Gavin. Hopefully by next month they will be home and I will have my favorite family back. I miss them all o so much. But her son is doing so much better which is great! Anyways I am going to watch this movie and wait for Billy to email me hopefully soon. Anyways hope you enjoyed this little update. Byes.

Just Thoughts.

So I have just been thinking. After reading my best friends post about the military. I have to completely agree with her. I mean being a Navy wife is soo hard esp when they are forward deployed. Having them gone for almost 10 months out of 1 year for 3-4 years straight or even longer if you continue to stay, to me is soo hard. I mean when I married Billy I knew what I was getting myself into. But you never really know till you have lived it. People tell me o itll go by fast or youll be ok. And all I can say is unless you are experiencing it yourself, you have no idea. Dont get me wrong I love that my husband is in the Navy and providing for his family. He a real man.Making sure ends are met. Not only that but being here I have met some of the most amazing ppl in my life. Denise and her family, and last my not least Elizabeth and Emilio, Emilito, and Little Baby Gavin. These ppl have made such a huge impact on my life I know that I will have them in my life for as long as I live. I dont know exactly what made me write all this its just something that I was thinking about. I am soo grateful to have the things that I have and to of seen that beautiful places and things that I have. And I can only hope that as we continue to be a Navy family that I get to see soo much more. Thats all for now. Byes :)

Snow Day Number 1.

Hey Everyone so today my husband and I woke up to a gorgeous day! It was totally white outside. This is the first major snowing we have had here in Sasebo since I got here in 2006 that has stuck. We decided to venture out to main base today not knowing how bad the roads where. The drive from Hario to Main base is usually about 25-30 minutes, not today. It took us 2 and a half hours to get there. But it was deff a gorgeous drive. As of right now at 1230 am on Sat night it is still snowing like crazy outside. So when I wake up tomorrow I will take Day 2 photos. Some of these where taken outside my house, Lizs house, and on our way to Main base. So Enjoy!!
